SimplyHRA Partners with Saga Health to Bring HSAs to Small Teams

SimplyHRA has partnered with Saga Health, a modern all-in-one HSA platform, to give employers and employees a smarter way to save and invest for health.

SimplyHRA today announced a partnership with Saga Health, the first AI-powered all-in-one HSA platform, to offer Health Savings Accounts to SimplyHRA customers. Employers can now contribute to their employees' HSAs, and employees can open, invest, and grow an account they own for life — all alongside the health benefits SimplyHRA already provides.

Why HSAs, and why now

SimplyHRA helps small businesses give employees a tax-free budget to buy their own individual health plan through an ICHRA. That solves the premium. But premiums are only one piece of healthcare costs — deductibles, prescriptions, and unexpected bills add up, and they're often where employees feel the pinch.

A Health Savings Account fills that gap. It's a tax-advantaged account for out-of-pocket healthcare costs, with a rare triple tax advantage: money goes in tax-free, grows tax-free, and comes out tax-free for qualified medical expenses. Because employees own the account, anything they don't spend rolls over and stays theirs — and can be invested to grow over time.

Pairing the two means SimplyHRA customers can now cover both sides of the equation: the premium and everything else.
